This episode is all about breastfeeding. Emily and myself will chat with you about some basics on the science behind breastfeeding. So, more of a breastfeeding 101. After that, we will talk extensively about some of the challenges that come with breastfeeding and how to get over the humps that will inevitably come up. I want to disclose that we are by no means lactation consultants or experts in this area, but we have researched this episode for hours and breastfed our babies and feel we can share our experiences and what we’ve learned from breastfeeding our children, with you. I want to say that we take a strong stance on the fact that breastfeeding can be super tough and isn’t for everyone. So, that is why we titled the episode Fed is Best. Because, in the end as you will see from our own experiences, as long as you are feeding your child be it formula or breast milk, you are right and doing it right, Mama. It is ultimately what works for you. With that being said, you are in the right place if you are pregnant or a new mom. You are in the right place if you are struggling as we speak with the ins and outs and random things that come forth when you enter this crazy wonderful, challenging, yet rewarding marathon we call breastfeeding. You are also in the right place if you are our family and friends who have supported us through all of our episodes and are tuning in regardless if you have babies to breastfeed, we love you and thank you for your continued support of the Catch This Mama podcast!
